Grateful retreat is nestled in a 3 and a half-acre rural setting. We are a short drive from the temperate South of Brittany; the Gulf of Morbihan has been described as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The region is a mystical and magical megalithic hotspot! On our doorstep we have so much to see! Ancient dolmens, Cairns, magical woodland and even a local freshwater spring. It is peaceful yet with easy access to major attractions like Carnac and Vannes.
Our traditional French stone Longere has been completely renovated to a high standard. The house was constructed using huge lumps off healing Quartz, which are still visible in the walls.
We have a purpose built yoga studio/meeting room, 3 lovely log burners to warm the cockles of your heart, 2 kitchens and 3 shower rooms. With a beautiful landscaped garden to relax in under the dappled sunlight, gently swinging in one of our hammocks if you choose!
The garden has a small apple orchard with pears, plums and walnuts, of which you are more than welcome to help yourself to! We will also be using our homegrown gifts in our cooking!

“My friend Kerry and I booked ourselves onto Lisa’s Suffolk retreat last year, not quite knowing what to expect as we’d never done a full on yoga retreat before. Lisa had booked the most beautiful venue, a stylish, cosy barn conversion in a pretty part of Suffolk. There were several ladies there who had known Lisa and Bob for a while and had been doing yoga with them for some time. They all made us very welcome and by the end of the weekend we felt very relaxed and left to go home feeling rested and happy. Lisa’s yoga was very communal, and not competitive. Bob’s Gong Baths were truly amazing, like an outer body experience! I would love to go again, but sadly now have too many commitments at home.” – Sarah.
